Through our International Honors Program, Kainan University offers four-year tuition, fee, and housing scholarships to scores of outstanding international students. The program is Taiwan’s only four-year undergraduate program taught completely in English. It offers students their choice of two degree tracks greatly in demand in the business world: Business Management and Shipping & Logistics. Students are also free to take courses taught in Mandarin.
Who Can Be an International Student?
Kainan University's International Honors Program is limited to those who are not citizens, permanent residents, or refugees of Taiwan, the Republic of China.
International Honors Program
True to its aim for an international environment, Kainan University is currently offering a four-year university scholarship to 100 international students, plus a guaranteed job to the top 40 students. Kainan University specifically targets students who:
- Have a good command of English
- Demonstrated above average academic performance in their secondary and/or tertiary level of education.
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills are independent, enthusiastic, and committed to the pursuit of higher education.

Recipients of the Taiwan government’s Taiwan Scholarship (Please see Taiwan Scholarship) are not eligible for free tuition and housing at Kainan but are very welcome to apply to Kainan’s International Honors Program and to use their Taiwan Scholarship to cover the costs of study and housing here. |
