The office of Research and Strategic Development was established in October, 2001 to consolidate the cooperation with the business world, boost the school development, bolster academic research, and strengthen the international cooperation. The major tasks are to establish the school long-term and short-term policy, planning and execution of the university's various R&SD administrations, promoting academic research projects, apply for research grants from government institutions, increase the cooperation with the business partners, and broaden the academic relationships with universities abroad.
