Asia's emerging logistics and shipping industries are not only experiencing major challenges but also are being offered great business opportunities. Consequently, the Conference aims to focus upon the key issues these two industries are facing in the 21st century. A forum will be provided to discuss recent trends and developments, current issues and future challenges in the logistics and shipping industries from an Asian perspective. Therefore, theoretical, empirical and policy-oriented papers in the fields of logistics and shipping are most welcome. In line with the Conference's main theme, papers are particularly encouraged if they involve collaboration between the logistics and shipping industries, academia, and government.
